MTSI “Eat with an Engineer” Series Goes Virtual

MTSI “Eat with an Engineer” Series Goes Virtual

September 2, 2020

“Thank you for running the EWE program this year. I learned a lot about the flight test engineering that MTSI does at air bases around the country, especially Edwards. I also got a lot of insights on the best ways to conduct yourself in and out of the workplace to have a good work/life balance and excel at your job.”
Clayton D., Intern

“I just wanted to write to express my gratitude for you including me in the EWE events. I’ve really enjoyed the meetings and getting to know a few other interns here at MTSI, even if all you guys are out in Ohio. Thanks for welcoming me and helping me feel the camaraderie. I really appreciate it.”
Nathan H., Intern

“Eat With An Engineer began to ‘pay it forward’ to the next generation of engineers. Taking this networking program online allowed us to expand the reach of this series to any geographic and technical area.”
Debby Ganote, EWE program founder, Engineer Principal

This summer, MTSI brought a series of intern and co-op events typically held in-person in Dayton, Ohio to the virtual world. The “Eat with an Engineer” Series (EWE) creates time for MTSI interns and co-ops to connect and engage with their peers and guest engineers over networking sessions. Through interactive and candid Q/A, the guest engineers answer questions, discuss their careers, and offer insights as technical subject matter experts.

Congratulations and thank you to all our interns, co-ops, guest engineer speakers and many members of our MTSI family who made this year’s virtual EWE events possible!
