HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. (MTSI), a 100% employee-owned engineering services and technology solutions provider for the defense industry, intelligence community, and commercial markets, has successfully launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Laboratory at its Huntsville, Alabama location. This new facility serves as an enabler for MTSI’s ongoing transformational AI technology research, and supports our employees and teammates in the design, development, and integration of innovative solutions for the Warfighter. The AI Lab, coupled with MTSI’s exceptional engineering staff and ongoing customer supported data analytics capabilities, accomplishes a holistic approach to the application of AI.

“The MTSI AI Laboratory provides a hands-on environment for its users to explore a wide variety of AI related problems,” added Dr. Willie Maddox, AI Laboratory Manager and AI subject matter expert. “Our current focus involves applying deep reinforcement learning to solve problems related to multi-agent dynamic route planning.”
