MTSI has multiple levels of flight test expertise and experience. The staff has a substantial number of graduates from the USAF, Navy, and National Test Pilot Schools. This team can perform all flight test functions to include: Identification of test objectives, developing Program Introduction Documents, designing test concepts, writing test plans, developing test profiles, developing instrumentation plans, writing test cards, conducting safety and technical review boards, leading test plan working groups, briefing air crews, test conduct, data analysis, and writing test reports.

F-117/ B-2/ F-22/ F-35
MTSI supports the Edwards 412 Test Wing Electronic Warfare Directorate in planning and conducting test, as well as reducing/ analyzing data and preparing reports and briefings. This support includes flight test mission directors, threat radar simulator observes and analysts. Planning includes preparing Program Introduction Documents, detailed test plans, mission briefings for aircrew and threat simulator operators, and aircrew flight test cards. The data reduction tasks consist of extracting instrumented range data,including time space and position information and threat radar simulator data. MTSI has supported these systems conducting survivability testing at the Nevada Test and Training Range since 1995.

F-15C
MTSI supports the development and testing of the F-15C APG- 63(V)2 and Advanced Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) Radar (V) 3 through several upgrade cycles. MTSI provides flight test planning, real-time mission conduct, and target aircraft scheduling/ coordination. MTSI has supported F-15 AESA radar testing since 1999.

HH-60G
MTSI performed APR-39B (V)2 radar warning receiver test and evaluation in 2003 and 2004 for the combat search and rescue mission, assessing the improvement in situational awareness over the legacy RWR.
